ArchiLabs
AI-native CAD platform that generates Revit automation, MEP workflows, and CPQ configurators from plain language
Standalone, browser-based parametric CAD/BIM workspace where users describe a task in plain language and the platform generates and runs Python automation, validates "smart components" against clearance and compatibility rules in real time, and produces documentation, MEP coordination workflows, or a 3D configure-price-quote (CPQ) flow. Launched in 2024 as an AI copilot positioned around the Revit API; by 2026 the product has repositioned as its own web-native CAD environment that exchanges files with Revit via IFC export/DXF import rather than running as an in-Revit plugin.
Why This Tool Exists
Architecture, MEP, and production-homebuilding teams spend significant time hand-writing repetitive Revit API/Dynamo scripts, manually routing and sizing MEP systems, converting legacy 2D DXF drawings into usable 3D models, and assembling quote-ready documentation for configurable building products — work that requires either programming skill or manual, error-prone rework spread across multiple files.
ArchiLabs lets a user type a plain-language request into a chat bar; the platform (built on top of third-party LLMs) generates and executes Python scripts against project geometry, converts DXF drawings into structured 3D models, and validates "smart components" against parameter, clearance, and compatibility rules as they are placed. Results can be packaged into MEP coordination workflows (routing, sizing, schedules, clash review), AI-generated documentation/sheets, or a 3D CPQ configurator that turns component libraries and pricing logic into a guided, priced quote flow for customers.

Exactly what this tool uses and how
REST Project API (create projects, place components, run validations, manage metadata, export packages) plus a WebSocket workflow-event stream, offered through the paid Embeddable SDKUse Cases
- ·Generating Python/Revit API automation scripts from plain-language descriptions
- ·Converting legacy 2D DXF drawings into structured, editable 3D models
- ·Automating MEP coordination workflows (HVAC duct routing, electrical load analysis, plumbing pipe runs) with clash and parameter review
- ·Building 3D CPQ (configure-price-quote) flows for production homebuilders, modular housing, and data-center/component manufacturers
- ·Embedding a white-labeled 3D configurator or BIM canvas into a third-party SaaS product via the SDK
