Why This Tool Exists

The Problem

Revit users spend significant time manually troubleshooting why elements mysteriously disappear from specific views. With Revit's 30+ visibility controls (filters, worksets, view range, etc.), identifying the root cause can take hours of investigation.

The Solution

Holmes automatically performs 13 diagnostic tests to identify why elements are hidden in views. Users simply select the missing element in any visible view, click Holmes, and receive a detailed report showing which views have issues and the specific reasons for visibility problems.
