Why This Tool Exists

The Problem

Revit users manually create and maintain legend views by drawing fill regions and text annotations one entry at a time, which is tedious and error-prone. When filter colors change, legends must be recreated from scratch, costing architects and BIM managers significant time on every revision.

The Solution

LeGen reads the filter overrides already applied to a Revit view and generates a fully formatted legend view in seconds. Legends can be refreshed with a single click when filter settings change, eliminating manual redrafting.
