Robotic concrete 3D-printing platform for onsite and offsite (microfactory) construction
Tvasta is a construction-technology company building gantry- and robotic-arm-based concrete 3D printers plus proprietary concrete-paste formulations, offering two delivery models — an Onsite Methodology that prints full-scale structures directly at the job site, and an Offsite Methodology that prints modular components in microfactories for later assembly — used for residential, commercial, and public-infrastructure projects in India.
Why This Tool Exists
Traditional cast-in-place and precast concrete construction in India is slow, labor-intensive, and generates significant material waste and rework, constraining the pace and cost-efficiency of both affordable housing delivery and public infrastructure projects.
Tvasta builds its own concrete 3D printers (gantry-based for large-scale onsite work, robotic-arm-based for microfactory production) and proprietary concrete-paste formulations. Digital building models are converted into a "C3D Print Format" and printed layer-by-layer, either directly on site (Onsite Methodology) or as modular components later transported and assembled (Offsite Methodology); completed projects include India's first 3D-printed house/dwelling space (2021) and a 3D-printed office building and bus shelter.
