VU.CITY

Survey-accurate 3D city model platform for urban design, planning, and feasibility

VU.CITY is a 3D digital-twin platform covering 25+ UK & Ireland cities plus Dublin and New York at survey accuracy, used by architects, planners, developers, and local authorities to visualize proposed developments in real urban context. It includes SiteSolve, a generative massing tool for site feasibility, and plugins for importing Revit, SketchUp, and Blender models into the city model for context studies and stakeholder presentations.

Why This Tool Exists

The Problem

Architects and planners need to test how a proposed development looks and performs within its real urban context, but coordinating site surveys, massing studies, and stakeholder visualizations across separate tools is slow and disconnected from actual city geometry.

The Solution

VU.CITY provides a pre-built, survey-accurate 3D model of the surrounding city so a proposed design can be imported or generated directly in context, with SiteSolve automating massing generation against site constraints and plugins allowing Revit/SketchUp/Blender models to be brought into the shared model for analysis and presentation.
