Why This Tool Exists
Structural engineers and building owners need to verify rebar location, cover depth, and diameter before renovating, retrofitting, or demolishing concrete structures, but the standard alternative to core drilling is manual interpretation of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) data by a trained specialist, which is slow and subjective.
A handheld scanner captures GPR, LiDAR, and camera data to build a 3D point cloud of the structure.
