JT Exporter for Revit

Export Revit models to JT format for PLM and engineering collaboration

Revit plugin that exports building models to industry-standard JT (Jupiter Tessellation) file format, enabling seamless data exchange with Siemens PLM systems and other JT-compatible CAD and PLM platforms for manufacturing, engineering, and product lifecycle management workflows.

Why This Tool Exists

The Problem

Revit users need to share and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams using PLM systems and other JT-format tools, but exporting requires manual conversion or third-party software. Standard file exports lose metadata and geometric fidelity, preventing seamless downstream integration with Siemens PLM, CAD tools, and visualization platforms.

The Solution

Plugin exports Revit models directly to JT format (versions 6.4-10.5) with full geometry and metadata preservation. Users can select VizRep or Brep models, control facet resolution for detail/file size optimization, and maintain assembly hierarchies and properties through the export process.
